St. Petersburg, FL - James LaJeunesse, 57, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away June 21, 2017 in his sleep. He leaves his wife Deborah (Guiou) LaJeunesse, his mother June (Sundeen) LaJeunesse of Worcester two daughters, Eileen LaJeunesse of Worcester and Ashley LeBlanc of St. Petersburg, FL, 2 sons Sam LeBlanc and Keith LeBlanc of Grafton, NH, as well as his grandchildren: Hailey, Dylan, Jasmine and Xander. He also leaves 3 brothers, Warren LaJeunesse of Worcester, Richard LaJeunesse of Waimanalo, HI and Philip LaJeunesse of Westborough, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his ex-wife, Helen (DiGregorio) LaJeunesse of Worcester. James is predeceased by his father, Herbert LaJeunesse.
James was born in Worcester, MA and moved to Florida 3 years ago. He graduated from Doherty Memorial High School. He was an automotive master technician for over 40 years. He could always be counted on to help a friend or family member who was having car troubles, no matter the time of day or night. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending summers at the Family Camp in Killingly, CT. He also enjoyed the ocean, scuba diving, skiing and vacationing in Maine. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and especially enjoyed his last 3 years in Florida where he could ride year round with his loving wife.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 2 PM – 4 PM at Nordgren Funeral Home, 300 Lincoln St, Worcester, MA 01605 with a memorial service immediately following.
