Phillip E. White 83, of Franklin, died peacefully, at home, Saturday June 24, 2017 with family at his side, following an illness. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Clark) White, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Born September 7, 1933 in Melrose, a son of the late Theodore J. White, Jr. and Margaret M. (Gill) White, he was a former resident of Millis and Medway before settling in Franklin.
He was raised and educated in Millis and received his business degree from Newbury College. For over 35 years Phillip worked as a production supervisor for International Paper. Always wanting to keep busy, he worked part-time for Apollo Security following his retirement.
Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family; camping, gardening, yard work and arts & crafts.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Terry E. Eason and his wife Carolyn L. Eason of Franklin, Michael D. Eason of Kansas, Oklahoma, Mark Eason of Alabama, Carol Eason of Alabama, Phillip E. White, Jr. of Wilbraham and David J. White of Arizona, a brother Robert White of Mendon, also surviving are numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Theodore F. White, Marjorie Johnson and Michelle Landry.
At Phillip’s request all services will be held privately.
