Obituary

Henry Mandeville, 81, of New Bedford, formerly of Fall River, died Sunday September 25, 2005 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.

Born in Fall River, the son of the late Albert and Regina (Bedard) Mandeville, he had lived in Fall River for all of his life before moving to New Bedford several years ago.

Mr. Mandeville served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He participated in the Battles and Campaigns of the Ardennes, Central Europe, Normandy, Northern France and the Rhineland and was a recipient of the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater service medal, the Good Conduct medal, the Combat Infantry badge, the Korean Service medal with 3 bronze service stars and the Army Occupation of Japan medal.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 28, 2005 at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting hours are omitted.
