TEWKSBURY: Mary Miggos, age 60, a resident of Tewksbury for 45 years, died Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Northwood Health Care Center in Lowell.
Born in Woburn on March 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Gianacopolis) Miggos.
Miss Miggos was raised in Stoneham and attended Stoneham schools.
She resided in Stoneham until moving to Tewksbury in 1960.
Miss Miggos was a homemaker, who loved caring for her pets, knitting and gardening.
She is survived by one brother; John Miggos and his wife Loretta (Davis) of Tewksbury; two sisters; Jane Farrell and Nancy Irvin both of Tewksbury; two nieces; Patricia Hourihan and her husband Michael of Chelmsford, Mary Miggos Derby and her husband Jeff of Dracut; four nephews; Charles Miggos of Tewksbury, Glenn Farrell of Hampton, NH, David Boyd of Lubbock, TX and Daniel Carr of Richmond, VA; four grandnieces; Mikala Hourihan of Chelmsford, Sarah and Lindsey Boyd both of Lubbock, TX and Jessica Derby of Dracut; one grandnephew; Jeffrey Derby of Dracut.
Miss Miggos was the sister of the late Catherine Clark and aunt of the late Dona Boyd.
Calling hours Wednesday, September 28th from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral service Thursday, September 29th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 are requested.
