Obituary

TEWKSBURY- Mrs. Nola K. (Keefe) Stewart, 63, died unexpectedly at her home on June 16, 2017 with her family by her side.

Nola was born on March 27, 1954 in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Raised and educated in Chelsea, Ma., Nola was a graduate of Chelsea High School (1974). She began work at an early age as a secretary for Boston Edison for over 19 years and most recently she was a school bus driver up until her illness.

Nola married the love of her life, Bob, on June 16, 1979. During their 38 years together, they moved to Tewksbury and created a family, full of children and pets – making Nola’s dream of a large family a reality.

She loved children very much, fostering eighty-three children with her husband Bob and adopted four children over the course of many years. She was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Stewart and sons James, Andrew, Michael, Robert, Justin and Joshua, as well as her brothers and sisters, John Keefe and his partner, Maureen McFarland, Paul Keefe, Elizabeth Rock and her husband Robert, Katherine Darragh and her husband Steven and Barbara Moran. Nola is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents John and Nola (Louise) Keefe.

Visitation Thursday, June 22nd at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey St Tewksbury from 2 to 3pm. A prayer service will begin at 3:00pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to The National Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Tewksburyfuneralhome.com
