Anne M. (Jason) Wiley, 84, of Dartmouth, peacefully passed away at home on Thursday, June 15, 2017 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late John C. Wiley.
Mrs. Wiley was born in Ayer, MA, daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Nellie M. (Seabury) Jason. She had resided in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth in 1971. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a sales associate for over 20 years at Star Store in New Bedford and in her later years, at Walmart. Mrs. Wiley was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, New Bedford for over 60 years. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, art work and traveling.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Our Lady's Haven, Fairhaven and Beacon Hospice, Fall River for all of the care and support they gave to Mrs. Wiley.
Survivors include her 2 sons: Bruce J. Wiley and his wife Nancy of Dartmouth and Glenn C. Wiley and Laurie Furbush of Atteleboro; 5 grandchildren: Jillian and Mara, Charlie, John and Cynthia; 4 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Ida Fuller.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at Grace Episcopal Church, 422 County St., New Bedford, MA 02740 at 9:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Sunday at the Potter Funeral Home from 4-7 P.M.
Interment will be private.
