Margaret M. (Shea) Swanson, 91, of Medway, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 16, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Runer Swanson who died in 1978.
Born in Palmer on March 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Sophie (Meurisse) Shea.
Mrs. Swanson was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1944.
Mrs. Swanson had worked at the former Porter Shoe in Milford and also at the former Your Laundry in Medway for many years.
She is survived by two daughters Pauline M. Swanson of Medway and Gloria S. Ream and her husband Michael of Tucson, Arizona, and a niece Kathy Schram and her husband Don of Pascoag, Rhode Island.
She was the sister of the late William and James Shea.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, June 24 at the Bellingham Bible Baptist Church, 365 Hartford Avenue in Bellingham at 11 a.m.
Burial will take place privately in Oakland Cemetery in Medway.
