Zalene Stilwell, 73, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with Michael Harrington officiating. Mr. Stilwell will be laid to rest at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 17, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Chris Stilwell, Billy Watson, Jason Holloway, Joshua Holloway, Jeramy Holloway and Christopher Polley will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 24, 1943 in Turner County, Mr. Stilwell was the son of the late W. F. Stilwell and Elizah Kennedy Stilwell. He was also preceded in death by one son; five brothers and one sister. He was retired from the grocery business.
Mr. Stilwell is survived by his wife, Ann Marshall Stilwell of Tifton; four sons, Tim Stilwell of Chula, Felton Lavender, Mark Lavender and Kyle Lavender, all of Tifton; two daughters, Suzanne Bennett of Albany and Sherri Holloway of Tifton; two brothers, Alfred Stilwell and Homer Lovering; one sister, Winifred Harrington; 14 grandchildren, Niobe Funderburk, Alisha Huff, Christopher Polley, Anzley Holloway, Jason Holloway, Joshua Holloway, Jeramy Holloway, Savannah Lavender, Caleb Lavender, Drew Lavender, Cole Lavender, Kelley Lavender, Katie Lavender and Michael Lavender; and 13 great-grandchildren.
