HELEN (BURNETT) SNIDER, 90, passed away peacefully June 15, 2017.
She was a devout Catholic, a homemaker and a former manager of House of Chen Restaurant.
Helen filled her life with family. She had a profound talent for crafting, cooking and was an extremely skilled seamstress. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James “Jimmy” Snider; her daughter, Paula Mahoney; and her son, Donald Scott Snider.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn Boudreaux (Danny), Richard H. Snider (Karen), Carolyn Wolfe (Walt), Lisa Shea (Jack), and Theresa Beam (Kevin); eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; her brother, Gary Burnett (Cheryl); sisters, Patricia Bryant and Brenda Sampson; many nieces and nephews; and extended family.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
