WORCESTER-Tim Haxhi Risvani, age 73, of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 14th at home with his loving family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Pavlina Risvani; his three daughters, Anila Risvani of Worcester, Rita Tafaj and her husband Zenel Tafaj of Tirana, Albania, Margen Risvani-Metohu and her husband Aurel Metohu of Worcester, and five grandchildren, Ava and Lui Tafaj of Albania, Art Zenelaj, Enri Metohu and Ryan Metohu, of Worcester, as well as five nieces and two nephews. Tim was born in Tirana, Albania on February 28, 1944 and was the son of Haxhi and Bedrie( Petrela) Risvani and the brother of Mithat and Kasem Risvani, Drita Çela, Ikbale Boshnjaku, and Fazilet Risvani all of Albania, predeceased. Before immigrating to United States in November 2000, he worked most of his life in Albania as an engineer-mechanic. In Worcester, he worked 10 years at TJMaxx Company and only retired a few years ago.
He was a devoted husband, father, and friend, always willing to help others. There is nothing he loved more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. After retiring he became an avid gardener tending to his garden several times a day. His home grown organically grown vegetables were his pride and joy in the final years of his life. He has left a huge void in the hearts of all who love him and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visiting Hours are Friday, June 16 from 5 to 8PM at CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. Family and Friends will gather at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17 at 8:30AM before processing to Hope Cemetery for a Committal Service at 10:00am
