Adrien Rosario, age 86, of Plymouth passed away at home on Sunday June 11, 2017 after an 8 year battle with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. He was the beloved husband of Beverly (Mello) Rosario, and son of the late Adriano and Mary (Camara) Rosario. He was a retired hydraulic technician for the U.S. Coastguard, a member of the Portuguese American Club of Falmouth, the Otis Fish and Game Club, and the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club. Adrien was a gentle man and always a gentleman. He lived in Somerset for 21 years, Falmouth for 23 years, and Plymouth for 17 years. He enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, fishing, boating, gardening, metal and woodworking, and traveling.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister-in-law Joan Rosario, several nieces and nephews especially Susan Donovan (husband Paul), Michael Rosario (wife Lori), and Steven Rosario (wife Jacqueline), several great nieces and great nephews. He was also the brother of the late Edwin V. and Elsie Rosario.
Adrien’s family would like to thank Dr. Victor Aviles and his staff of angels (and of course Danny) for the exceptional care they showed Adrien and his family.
His calling hours will take place at the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday from 6-8P.M.. His funeral will begin on Friday here at 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Church at 11:30 A.M. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
