Corinne V. (Dubois) Lafond, age 89 of Andover passed away on June 10, 2017. Corinne was born in Lawrence on April 11, 1928 to the late Henry and Annie (Violette) Dubois. She was a former communicant of St. Augustine’s Parish of Andover. Corinne enjoyed knitting, counted cross stitch and camping for 55 years. She will be remembered for having a green thumb, as she enjoyed plants and gardening.
Corinne was the beloved wife of the late Robert J. Lafond. She was the devoted mother of Robert Lafond and his wife Sheila of Salem, NH, Ret. Commander Daniel Lafond and his wife Sarah of Orr’s Island, ME, and Renee Peterson and her husband Richard of Somersworth, NH. Corinne was the dear sister of Rita Daley and her husband Tom and the late Henrietta Dubois. She was the loving grandmother of Kimberly Midolo, Jeffrey Lafond and his fiancé Jennifer, Abigail Miller and her husband Daniel, Alexandra Lafond, Melissa Riss and her husband Dan, and Douglas Peterson. Corinne was the cherished great grandmother of Kayla Midolo and Joseph Midolo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen.
