Frank F. Russell, 81, a lifelong resident of Malden passed away Friday, June 9 following a courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Born to Anna T. (Driscoll) Kelly and Frank F. Russell, Frank graduated from Malden High School then earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Boston University School of Management. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Signal Corps, and spent his career as an Account Executive in the printing and paper industries. An avid history buff, Frank loved to enlighten others with local stories and trivia. Summers were spent enjoying the ocean at Hampton Beach.
Frank is survived by his wife, Denise (Richardson) Russell, son, Frank Russell, Jr. of Malden, daughter, Leanne Russell of Wakefield, three grandchildren, Grant Simpson, Madison Russell, and Edwin Russell, and many cousins and extended family.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday June 14th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church 297 Main Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday June 13th from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
