Watkins, Tempest L. (Haycraft), 85, was called home June 5, 2017 in Louisville.
She was born to John “J.S.” and Alma (Beeler) Haycraft December 17, 1931 in Snap, KY.
Tempest worked for Philip Morris in Manufacturing where she retired in 1991, she loved to play Bingo, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Haskel Haycraft Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Warren Watkins; sons, Huel (Susan) and Dale (Lydia) Watkins; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lottie Hodge and Gumee Haycraft.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation is Friday 2:00-8:00 PM.
