HUDSON- Maria Fatima (Sarver) Giancola, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at her home in Brooksville, FL with her loving husband Dana and daughters, Ana and Betty by her side.
She was born in Sao Jorge Azores, Portugal on October 14, 1940 and was one of 8 children. She is survived by her Husband, Dana Giancola, children Ana Paula Medeiros (Winchendon), Betty & Gary Finn (Winchendon) and Rick & Diane Sarver (Grafton), 13 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
At times, Fatima worked tirelessly at two to three jobs at once. She was a dedicated employee at Bose where she retired and was loved by all her co-workers. She also worked at Westridge Health Care in Marlboro, MA, where she met Dana; and at Springhill Rehab Center in Brooksville, FL where she received Employee of the Month several times.
After retirement Dana and Fatima moved to Florida. Fatima loved vacationing and spending time with Dana. She lived a simple life, loved gardening, and walking their dogs Tobi and Sara.
She was a beloved wife of Dana for 11 years and a dedicated mother to her children and grandchildren.
Fatima was an amazing hardworking, kind, caring, patient and giving woman who radiated love in everything she did.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, June 10th in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St, Leominster, MA 01453. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
