In Taunton, Dorothy Sylvia, Age 89, passed away peacefully in Marian Manor Nursing Home in Taunton. Dorothy was born in Dighton, the daughter of the late Joseph & Gertrude (Richmond) Sylvia. She had resided most of her life in Taunton. Dorothy was employed for the former Anderson Little Clothing Company in Fall River, where she worked as a seamstress. Dorothy was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Taunton. She enjoyed dancing, loved her dogs and the time she spent with her family brought her the greatest joy. Dorothy was the sister of the late Joseph M. Sylvia, Kathleen Sylvia and Natalie Brewer. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held at the Dighton Unitarian Cemetery in Dighton.
