Richard Meader Fuller Sr. a lifelong resident of Weymouth, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the age of 70. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Kathleen (Brown) Fuller, his four sons, Thomas Fuller and his wife Christy of West Bridgewater, Richard M. Fuller Jr. and his wife Kirsten, Kevin Fuller and his wife Doreen and Chris Fuller and his wife Amanda, all of Weymouth. He also leaves his brother, Allan Fuller Jr. and his wife Barbara of Florida and his sister, Debbie Fuller of Halifax. He was the loving Grampa of Anna, Matt, Grace, Sarah, Ben, Kylie, Caitlyn, Henry and Brendan Fuller.
Richard worked for General Dynamics in Quincy for several years and was a Draftsman for the Town of Weymouth for 26 years. He was very active in Boy Scouts with Troop 92 in Weymouth for almost 40 years and was a talented artist, poet and carpenter.
Richard was a loving family man and always put his family first and was a loyal friend to many. He will be dearly missed by many.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Richard’s life on Friday, June 9 from 4-8 PM at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth. The burial service will be private.
