In Taunton, Adelino Teixeira June 3, 2017 Passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy and courageous struggle with cancer. He was born in Taunton, the son of Adelino V. & Maria (Martins) Teixeira of Taunton. Adelino had resided all his life in Taunton. He was a graduate of Taunton High School, class of 1982 and also graduated from East Coast Aero Tech in Bedford, MA. Adelino prior to his illness was employed as an automobile mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football and attending his nephews sporting events. Adelino will be mostly known as a fighter until the end and for being a loving and devoted person who cherished his time with family. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved son Ryan Adelino Teixeira of East Taunton. His siblings, Ann Teixeira Cabral and her husband Arthur Jr. of Taunton, Joseph Teixeira of Taunton and John Teixeira and his wife Melissa of Taunton. His nieces and nephews Alysha, Tyler, Aryana, Grace, John, Jacob, Zack, Dylan and his great nephew A.J. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday at 10:30 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church at 11:30 am. Funeral home visiting hours are on Thursday from 5-8 pm. Burial in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
