Anna C. Radovsky, M.D.

METHUEN: Anna Cort Radovsky, M.D., passed away peacefully at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the age of 94.
She was the beloved wife and professional partner of the late Dr. Everett S. Radovsky, who passed away in 1989.
Anna was born in Boston on September 17, 1922, to Boris and Eva Cort.
She was raised in Roxbury and Brookline. She graduated from Girl’s Latin High School at the top of her class and from Radcliffe College with honors.
She was one of the only women to graduate from Boston University School of Medicine in 1949.
Anna completed her internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, and then practiced medicine for many years in Fall River. She was in private practice alongside her husband Everett for most of her career, sharing an office with him at the Truesdale Clinic. After that practice closed, she became the medical director at the United Ladies Garment Workers Union Medical Center, serving in that capacity until she was eighty years old.
Anna resided in the Fall River and Dartmouth area until moving to Andover in 2012, and then to Nevins Nursing & Rehab in Methuen in 2016.
Anna is survived by her children, Lauren Miller of Methuen, Robin Phillips of Orient, NY, Richard Radovsky of Brockton and her grandchildren Laura Antonia Phillips, Karen Anne Phillips, Katherine Lee Phillips, Carolyn (Miller) Pierce, Zachary Everett Miller, Gabriel Radovsky, Daniel Radovsky and Eve Radovsky.
She was predeceased by her son, David Cort Radovsky and her brother, Joseph Cort.
Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Sunday, June 11, at 3:30 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Andover, 6 Locke St., Andover, MA.
