Obituary

SANBORNTON - Malcolm I. Taylor, 81, of Sanbornton, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Genesis Laconia Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on January 21, 1936 in Laconia, the son of the late Irwin and Alice (Baldwin) Taylor. Malcolm was a graduate of Laconia High School and also attended Brewster Academy and served in the US Air Force. He worked for most of his life as a self employed interior remodeler. Malcolm was a life member of the Laconia Elks #876, a sixty year member of the United Baptist Church of Lakeport and a member of the sled dog club. He loved to run sled dogs and enjoyed running road races.

He is survived by his wife, Sue (White) Taylor, two sons; Brian Taylor and Rory Blanchard, two daughters; Wanda Taylor and Colette Conway, eight grandchildren, one sister, Natalie Miles and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the family lot at Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO BOX 572, Laconia, NH 03247 or to the United Baptist Church, 35 Park St, Lakeport, NH 03246.
