After Nancy and Denver’s marriage in 1949 they remained steadfast for 63 years until Denver’s passing in 2013. Nancy, along with her husband, settled in Ledyard in 1951 where they lived, laughed and loved for the next 61 years.
Nancy’s love of gardening prompted her to obtain a Master Gardner Certificate from the University of Connecticut. Nancy, a past president of The Ledyard Garden Club, enjoyed learning and sharing with her dear friends of the club, and her gardens were works of art.
Nancy's zest for life never faded and was never more evident when she began playing golf at the age of 74, and bowling at the age of 76.
Nancy was a tireless fund raiser for many charities but was especially dedicated to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
