Lise Belliville Lizzie, 77, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2017 in Safety Harbor, FL, while surrounded by her loving children. She was born in Coaticook, PQ, Canada on January 11, 1940 the daughter of Idola Belliville and Noellie St. Pierre Belliville. Lise worked as a maternity nurse at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital for many years. She loved taking care of new mothers and cuddling the newborn babies. She was a former member of TOPS Club and frequently sang at their conventions. She was also a former President of the Ladies of St. Anne. Lise enjoyed her summers in Maine at Littlefield Beaches. She loved campfires, singing, cooking for family and friends and being surrounded by her family. Lise spent her winters in Safety Harbor. You could often see her singing twice a week at the park with her good friend, Pops, on the guitar.
Lise is survived by her cherished children: Jerry and husband Greg Xiggoros, Nancy and husband Dennis Arguin and Debbie and husband Wayne Gowen. She was the proud grandmother of 3 grandchildren, Kiera and Krysta Arguin and Alyssa Gowen. She is also survived by her sisters Marcelle Belanger and Jeannine Belliville. Lise was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Wilfred Lizzie, and brothers and sisters Ferrier Belliville, Evangeline Brousseau Sullivan, Firmin Belliville and Gilberte Belliville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Saturday from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
