Flora C. Perella, 95 of Somerville died Thursday after a brief illness in the Winchester Nursing Center Winchester, MA.
Born in Italy, she lived in Somerville for the past 46 years and was fomerly of the South End of Boston. Flora was the daughter of the late Rosina (DiSalvatore) and Domenico Carapellucci. Mrs. Perella was a Seamstress, employed by the former Centruy Sportswear in Boston’s garment district and retired in 1972.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph N. Perella. Devoted mother of Dominic F. Perella and his wife Sylvia of Belmont, Joseph M. Perella and his wife Genevieve of Norwood, Rose Mahoney and her husband Edward of Somerville, Jenny A. Perella of Palmer, and the late Rosina Perella, and Mario J. Perella. Mother-in-law of Mary Perella of Somerville. Also survived by 10 loving grandchildren and 19 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St,, Medford, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
