Ellen A. (Giggi) Bolognese of Medford died on Wednesday, May 31. A lifelong resident, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella (Muollo) Giggi. Ellen worked for many years at Medford City Hall.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Bolognese, and the devoted mother of Elaine Bolognese and her partner Barbara Hardy of South Dennis, Ralph Bolognese and his wife Karen of Winchester. Ellen was the loving grandmother of Anne, William and Andrew Bolognese, and sister of the late Michael Giggi and his surviving wife Gloria, the late Gloria Romeo and her husband Pat, and the late Virginia Giggi. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Monday, June 5, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9 through 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
