John D. Duffy of Medford died on Sunday, May 28. A lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Claire G. Duffy, and was predeceased by his beloved uncle Dermott Hunt.
John was the devoted father of Brianna K. Duffy of Malden. He was the loving companion of Frances Giannini, and is also survived by his former wife Danette (Screti) Duffy, his best friend Robert Taddeo, beloved cat Daphne, and many more loving friends and family. John was an avid golfer and traveler. He especially loved cruises and Disney, and loved to eat in fine restaurants.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, June 3 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours Friday, June 2, from 4 through 8 PM.
