New Bedford – Randall Mark Rogers, age 55, of New Bedford, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Debra (Ferdinand-Hurst) Rogers and was the son of the late Patricia (Towner) and the late Joseph George Rogers, Sr.
Mr. Rogers was born in New Bedford, MA. He was an M.R.I. Tech for St. Anne’s Hospital. Randall, who was affectionately known as “Haap” by his friends was loved and respected by so many. He was a loving husband and father, as well as a true friend to so many, being there for those who needed him time and again. He was a lover of all sports and coached many years in the city's Youth United basketball league. His love for his family, friends, and community was utterly limitless. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his two sons; Joshua Rogers and his fiancée, Melissa and Jacob C. Rogers; siblings; Joseph George Rogers, Jr. and his wife, Dawn C. of New Bedford, Kevin S. Rogers and his wife, Jillian of New Bedford, and Robert M. Rogers and his wife, Veronica of New Bedford. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Deborah Hoglund, wife of his late brother, John E. Hoglund and sister-in-law Sandra Hoglund, wife of his late brother, Thomas E. Hoglund; as well as several nieces and nephews.
