Obituary

In Fall River, May 28, 2017 Reverend Kenneth J. Delano Passed away in the Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River at the age of 83. Reverend was born in Taunton, the son of the late Kenneth & Isabel (Tatro) Delano. He was a graduate of Monsignor James Coyle High School and St. Mary’s Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland. Reverend served most of his vocation in the Fall River area and also assisting at the Annunciation of the Lord Parish in Taunton. He enjoyed traveling, wildlife, astronomy and his family. Reverend is survived by his sister Delores Cote and her husband Paul W. of Taunton, his sister in law Dorothea Delano of N.C. and his late brother Donald Delano. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, June 1st at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 11 am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in the family lot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in Reverend Kenneth’s memory may be made to the Annunciation of the Lord Church, 31 First St., Taunton, MA 02780.
