Faye Stone Clark Roberson, 64, of Ocilla, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of May 27, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Rex Johnson and the Rev. Joel Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in the Lax Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery in Coffee County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Faye was born December 1, 1952 in Appling County, Georgia to her late parents, Henry Matthew Stone & Martha Hutchinson Stone. Faye enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking big meals. She will be remembered most for her unwavering love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Faye had a zeal for life and a heart full of love…she will be forever loved & always remembered.
Survivors include: her best friend and soul mate, Sammy Ronald Harper of Ocilla; her sons: Jerry Robert Clark of Macon and Darryl (Yvonne) Harper of Ocilla; three Grandsons: Sean Robert Clark of Ocilla, Chase Clark of Fitzgerald, and Jonathan (Sammy) Harper of Ocilla; three granddaughters: Cassie Rose Clark, Kayla Sirmans and Kristen Harper all of Ocilla; five great grandchildren: Rebekah Clark, Brandi Clark, Kaiden Harper, Mason Harper and Rylan Williams, all of Ocilla; brother: J.W. Stone of South Carolina; three sisters: Wanda Mullinnix of Gaffney SC, Winnell Taylor of Douglas, and Carolyn Merritt of Nichols. Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Bobby Stone, Hoke Stone, Henry Stone, Melvin Stone, and Kenny Stone and three sisters, Lucille Barnette, Rebecca Lindsey and Bobbie Jean Stone.
