Charles Leslie Carter, 86, passed away May 26, 2017 at Baptist East Hospital.
Charles was retired from Cohart Refractory, and Baptist by faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria (Pharris) Carter.
Survivors include a son, Michael Carter (Cindy); daughter, Judy Gowen (Johnny); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time.
