Greenfield, John C., 86, was called home May 27, 2017 at his home with family by his side.
He was born to Perry and Edna (Walker) Greenfield February 21, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH.
John was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church. An Ironworker for Local 70, where he retired in 1993. And a member of VFW Post 1181.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Patricia (Mattingly); his children: Glenna Board (Kevin), Christie Downey (Gabriel), and Marvin Greenfield; grandchildren: Felicia, Gladys, Holly, Emily, Bradley, Cassidy, and Christopher; great-grandchildren: Baily, and Laela.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial is in Brookland Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 3:00-8:00 PM, and after 9:00 AM Thursday.
