Brother of Paul Flynn and his wife Jeanne of Braintree, Peter Flynn and his wife Deborah of Marshfield, the late Jack, Alice, Doris, Thomas Flynn and Ellen D’Auria. Dear friend of Barbara Rex of Wrentham. U.S. Korean War Veteran, retired program manager for the U.S. Government and graduate of Harvard University. He loved being outdoors, hiking, a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club - 4,000 footer of the White Mountains. He never missed his grandchildren’s activities such as hockey games, skating competitions and plays.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham, Tuesday, May 30, at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 11am.
