Carol Ann (Gault) Tavanese, a longtime resident of Medford, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was 78 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 30, 1939, she was the beloved daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Ann (Watt) Gault. Carol enjoyed playing cards with friends and eating out at restaurants. She also loved her cats and to travel, especially on Cruise Ships. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Joseph F. Tavanese of Medford and his wife Denise M. Tavanese of Lynn, Daniel J. and his wife Donna J. Tavanese of Norwood, Patricia J. and her husband Patrick J. Kearney of Medford and Lynne M. and her husband Jacob R. Smith of Wilmington, brother-in-law; Edmund Donnelly of Westford, grandchildren; Alicia, Joseph, Emily, Michael, Nicholas, Julia, Megan and Lauren, great-grandchildren; Harlow and Cambree and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Margaret Donnelly.
Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be held in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 S.
