Keith Revels, 57, of Eastman, Georgia, formerly of Irwin County, Georgia, died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Henderson Chapel Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia with the Rev. Dale Smith officiating. The family will receive friends in Henderson Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Sunday, from 1 PM until 2 PM.
Mr. Revels was born March 18, 1960, in Ocilla, Georgia, to J. V. & Geneva Douglas Revels. He had lived in Eastman for nine years and work for D. A. Pope as a maintenance technician and welder. Mr. Revels enjoyed flea markets, antiques, cooking, eating buffets and fishing. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Tifton.
He is survived by his companion, Amanda Joiner of Eastman, children: Christy & Josh Thompson of Waterloo, Zachary & Leah Revels of Ray City and Abigail Chaney of Ocilla; grandchildren: Madison Thompson, Josie Thompson, Abigail Revels and one on the way; parents: J. V. & Geneva Revels of Mystic; three sisters: Bobbie & Darrell Ross of Ocilla, Cindy & William “PeeWee” Freeman of Fitzgerald and Karen & Don Ross of Ocilla.
