Domingo Villette Aserdano, 69, a native of the Philippines passed away on May 22, 2017 in Shelbyville, KY after his two-year battle with various health issues.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Owen Funeral Homes, 9318 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40299. Funeral services will be held on the same day at 6 p.m. Cremation will follow after.
Domingo was born on June 6, 1947 in Camarines Sur, Philippines to Mario Aserdano, Sr. and Victoria Aserdano. He married Erlinda Gawaran on September 6, 1971 in Marikina City, Philippines.
Domingo is preceded in death by Mario Aserdano, Sr. (father), Victoria Aserdano (mother), Jovito Aserdano (brother), Epifanio Aserdano (brother), and Pedro Aserdano (brother).
Domingo will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife, Erlinda Aserdano; his children, Loida Cariga, Bernadette Lewis, Veronica Wheatley, Ryann Aserdano, Maritess Aserdano, and Marissa Aserdano; sons-in- law, Crispino Cariga, Michael Lewis, and John Wheatley; daughter-in-law, Nazareth Bayani; his nine grandchildren, Alyanna Wheatley, Francesca Cariga, Jaeden Wheatley, Lorraine Lewis, Joshua Wheatley, Sophia Cariga, Chloe Aserdano, Cassandra Aserdano, and Mikayla Lewis; brothers, Agustin Aserdano, Mario Aserdano; and sisters Nieves Baydal and Lourdes Moralde.
