Raynham - Phyllis R. Bluhm Peters 72 of Raynham MA, formerly of Florida, passed away at the home of her daughter on May 21, 2017 after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Phyllis was born in Winthrop, MA on June 12, 1944 to the late Rita and Philip Bluhm. Phyllis grew up in Brookline and attended Brookline High School.
Phyllis worked as office manager for an internist in Newton Mass for over thirty years. Phyllis lived life out loud and enjoyed participating in anything from Dance to skydiving, from zip ling to reading. Phyllis was fun loving and made friends wherever she went. Her greatest love was her family and her grandchildren. Phyllis passed away while surrounded by loving family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Jodi and her son in law Paul Capobianco of Raynham; her grandchildren; Jessica Capobianco, Steven Capobianco, Andrew Capobianco, David Capobianco, and Brian Capobianco. She is also survived by her son, Alan Shuman, currently of Framingham MA; her sister Tobe Fine of Chicago; her current husband, Larry O'Berry of Florida and her ex-husband and father of her children, William Shuman of Florida; as well as countless friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Jodi and Paul Capobianco on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M. as well as Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. at 46 Arrowhead Lane, Raynham, MA 02767.
