HINCHLIFFE, Jeanne Our dear mother, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2017. She was a longtime resident of Wellesley. Born and raised in Roslindale, she was the youngest child of the late George and Katherine Vogel. She was predeceased by her brothers, George, Paul and Leo Vogel and her sister Katherine Condron. Jeanne is survived by her husband, Robert Hinchliffe of Wellesley, and her children, Stephen (Janet) McMahan of Parkland FL, Beth (James) Nagle of Lexington, Judith (David) Elliott of Malvern PA, Carol Sands of Maynard, Peter (Elizabeth) McMahan of Wellesley, and stepdaughter Elizabeth Hinchliffe of Wellesley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the wife of the late William McMahan and late Peter Giorgio.
Jeanne was a graduate of The Miss Fay School, Northeastern University and Boston University. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career as a registered nurse, until her retirement in 2007. She was an active participant at St Paul Parish and her strong faith in God was with her daily. Her passions included gardening, dancing, and most of all her family. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed by many.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Saturday, May 27 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Friday, May 26 from 4-7pm. Interment services are private.
