Aurora G. Amaro 75, of Oxnard, CA went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2017 in Orange County, CA surrounded by her loving family. Aurora was born in El Grullo, Jalisco Mexico to Fernando and Ignacia Lopez on January 13, 1942.
Mom met the love of her life Jose and moved to Oxnard where they resided for 52 years together. She was very dedicated to her faith and a devoted parishioner of Santa Clara Church in Oxnard. Mom cared deeply for her family. She was a lifetime homemaker, provider, and most of all protector. She was loving, kindhearted and always put others before her. Making sacrifices for others was mom’s way of life. Her passions were cooking, gardening and spending quality time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She loved vacationing with her family, and did so often. She left us with many fond memories of frolicking on the warm sunny beaches with her grandchildren.
Aurora is survived by her loving husband Jose E. Amaro, her daughter Sonia Robles (John) and sons Joe Amaro (Leslie), Ruben Amaro (Tina), Mario Amaro (Salina), and her grandchildren Rageena Amaro, Justin Robles, Kaitlyn Robles, Sarae Amaro, Dante Amaro and her soon to be born grandchild Adeline Aurora Amaro.
Aurora is also survived by her brothers; Luis Gonzalez (Maria), Arturo Gonzalez (Teresa) and Fernando Gonzalez (Coty) and her sister in laws; Luz Gonzalez, Lupe Gonzalez, Maria Gonzalez, Licho Gonzalez and Efigenia Gonzalez and many nieces and nephews. Aurora was preceded in death by her parents Fernando and Ignacia Gonzalez; her sister Beatriz Gonzalez and brothers; Pedro, Antonio, Carlos, Adrian and Hector Gonzalez.
Visitation for our loving wife, mother, and grandmother will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5-8 pm with a Most Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm in JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main St., Ventura. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10 am at Santa Clara Church, 323 South E St., Oxnard. Burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 North H St., Oxnard.
