Obituary

John H. “Bucky” Morgan, 81, a lifelong resident of Winchester, passed away on May 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Bellino) Morgan.
Born, raised and educated in Winchester, Mr. Morgan was a Winchester Police Officer for many years. In his spare time, he was also a contractor/builder and enjoyed fishing, lobster fishing, hunting and taxidermy.
Mr. Morgan was also very involved in environmental issues, particularly clean water and toxic waste dump sites. He was notorious for his claims that a Winchester dump site allegedly contained toxins and contaminated materials from chemical dumping of the industrial solvents trichloroethylene (TCE) and perchloroethylene (PCE), and others, into the local water supply by the infamous Woburn chemical plant, W. R. Grace, whose litigation was featured in the movie. “A Civil Action”.
Mr. Morgan was the beloved father of Beth Morgan Dunnigan of Winchester and the late Sara Morgan Bunn and the late Michelle Shaughnessy. He was the devoted grandfather of Michelle Bunn Meirls, John Bunn, Jacklyn Bunn, Ryan Dunnigan and Julia Shaughnessy, and the dear brother of Sally Demille of West Concord, Frances “Diane” Johnson of Wells, ME, Bridget M. O’Connor of Woburn and the late Joan Harris, MaryLou Fenno and Harry Morgan.
