BAR MILLS- Ronald “Sneaker” L. Walker, age 72, of Bar Mills, passed away on May 24, 2017, with his family at his side.
He was born in Sanford on June 22, 1944, a son of the late Frank and Edna (Howard) Walker and graduated from Kennebunk High School.
For many years, he was employed by Nichols in Portland as a machinist.
He will always be remembered for his love of classic cars, sand drag racing, and working in his shop- Sneaker’s Auto Body.
He is predeceased by his wife- Donna (Foss) Walker; and siblings- Frank, Howard, Donald and Suzanne Walker.
Ron is survived by his children- Rodney Walker and his wife Stacie of East Waterboro, Suzanne Bryant of Arundel, Robert Walker and his wife Michelle of CA, and CJ Walker and his wife Erika of Westbrook; siblings- Ralph Walker of Litchfield, Robert Walker of Arundel, and Sylvia Mills of Arundel; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visiting hours will be on Friday May 26, from 6 – 8 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton. Burial will be in Kennebunk.
