OXFORD – Eugene E. “Geno” Nolin, 66, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.
He leaves 2 sons, Matthew P. Nolin and his wife Shannon of Oxford, and Michael E. Nolin and his wife Tina of Thompson, CT; 4 grandchildren, Lily, Madison, Alexis and Riley Nolin; 5 brothers, Joseph Nolin and his wife Susan of Ware, Robert Nolin and his wife Susan of Zephyrhills, FL, Stanley Nolin and his wife Barbara of Spencer, Richard Nolin and his wife Helen of Webster, and Norman Nolin of Dudley; his former wife, Sharon L. (Mulvaney) Nolin of Zephyrhills, FL; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister Jane Sliwa.
He was born in Webster and raised in Dudley, a son of Valmore A. and Josephine A. (Wieloch) Nolin He lived in Oxford for 36 years before moving to Jensen Beach, FL in 2010,
Mr. Nolin worked for many years at Norton Company in Worcester before retiring in 2008.
He was a member of Saint Roch’s Church when he lived here and a member of Saint Martin’s Church in Jensen Beach. He liked golfing and fishing. He was avid bicycle rider and had a love of antique cars.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, May 30, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 E. Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Roch’s Church, 334 Main Street, Oxford. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, May 29, in the funeral home.
