Margaret A. (Valley) Dayton, 89, of Westport died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at The Oaks, New Bedford. She was wife of the late Albert F. Kirby and the late Frederick E. Dayton. Born in New Bedford, she was daughter of the late Frederick G. and Margaret (Carter) Valley. Mrs. Dayton enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and animals.
Survivors include 2 sons: Steve Kirby of Westport and Bradford A. Kirby of Westport; a daughter: Susan M. Kirby of Salt Lake City, UT; a step-son: Gary W. Dayton of Walpole, MA; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She was step-mother of the late Gayle Boudria.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
