HUDSON, MA
William F. Timledge, Jr., 82 of Sandown, N.H., formerly of Hudson, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Parkland Medical Center surrounded by his adoring family. Bill leaves behind his beloved wife of over sixty years Marguerite (Pesce) Timledge.
William was born in Hudson, MA on April 3, 1935, a son of the late William F., Sr. & Anna P. (Zeletzky) Timledge. He was raised in Hudson, attended school and was a member of Saint Michael’s Church. After he finished his education, he went on to proudly serve his Nation during Korean War in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 until 1955 earning several commendations. Upon his return, Bill and Marguerite married and began their life together, eventually settling in Sandown, N.H., where they have resided for the past 52 years. Bill worked as a Steel Worker for Northern Steel Co. for many years until his retirement.
Bill enjoyed nature, spending time outdoors, fishing, landscaping and doing yard work. He loved Scottish Terriers, especially his own Scottie, “Mackenzie” who he cared for as if he were his child. He was also a member of the Sandown Lions Club. Bill was a good man, devoted husband and a great friend and he will be dearly missed by those that knew him.
In addition to his wife Marguerite, Bill is also survived by his sister, Joan Ginden; three nephews Jimmy, David, and Michael Stewart; his niece Allison Stewart and several other nieces and nephews.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St, Hudson, MA. Following Bill’s service a Funeral Cortege will process from the funeral home to Saint Michael’s Cemetery in Hudson for final committal services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Bill’s name to a charity of your choosing.
