SPENCER:Beulah E. (Grenier) Plante 97, formerly of 12 Adams St., died Sunday, May 21 at Christopher House in Worcester.
Her husband of 48 years, Normand J. Plante passed away in 1990. She leaves her daughters Jean M. Flannery and her husband John of Spencer, Ann R. Carroll and her husband Bill of Brewster, and Madeline E. Lennon and her husband James of Millbury, her son in law P.Dennis Gallant of Medway, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Claire L. Gallant in 2005 and brothers Henry and William Grenier, grandsons Matthew Hartline and Paul Gallant.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Henry and Emeline (Gaudette) Grenier and later graduated from David Prouty High School, Class of 1938.
Cooking, sewing, knitting and crocheting were some of Beulah's favorite activities. She had a kind heart and will be remembered for her willingness to help others. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. The family would like to thank Christopher House of Worcester for the excellent care they have given to Beulah over the last few years.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 25 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the services on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
