Christina Ann (Mahon) Lamphere, 57, of North Stonington died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband, William Lamphere Jr.
She was born on January 3, 1960 in New York, the daughter of Christopher J. and Pauline (Kerns) Mahon.
Christina was a very dedicated worker. She was the head of maintenance at Mary Elizabeth Nursing Home in Mystic for 15 years, worked at Ahepa in Groton and the Cross Sound Ferry in New London. She finally obtained her license in Nursing and was very happy working at Harbour Village in New London.
She was married to William Lamphere Jr. for 12 years and spent her last 25 years with him. She loved people and her family.
In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by her son, Allen, her daughter, Barbara, and 7 grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother.
Christina’s family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 24, from 5 to 8pm, at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial will be private for the family.
