Raymond A. Letourneau Jr. 66, passed away April 11, 2017 at Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas Nevada.
Raymond is survived by his wife Sharon Letourneau and his daughters, Jocelyn Rampy of Florida, Jaclyn Letourneau, and Devon Letourneau, both of Worcester. He leaves 5 grandchildren, Jalen Rampy, Christian Letourneau, Xavyer Velez, Raelynn Lemerise and Jayleah Ard.
He also leaves his brothers Kevin Letourneau, David Letourneau, and Robert Letourneau, as well as his sisters, Marianne Cronin, and Karen Ellis.
Raymond was born in Worcester to Mary Ryan and Raymond Letourneau. He lived in Worcester until he joined the US Navy where he served in Guam, and settled in San Diego Ca. He attended San Diego State College majoring in psychology and music. He later moved back to Worcester, where he worked at several manufacturing facilities as a plant manager.
Raymond’s love of the water would find him sailing on Webster lake on his Hobie Cat, or later in life living on a sailboat in Key West Fl.
Most recently “Boston Ray” could be found singing and playing his guitar to many an audience in Las Vegas, where he was a musician.
A memorial service and celebration of life is planned for Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Alfred Roy and Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street, Worcester starting with calling hours at 11:00 am and a service at 12 Noon. Burial will be at Saint John’s Cemetery immediately following the service. All are invited to attend.
