LIMINGTON- Jordan Mikel Lambert was born March 18, 1992 in Portland, Maine. He passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Maine Medical Center as a result of injuries caused by a tragic car accident.
Jordan was a loving and supportive father, son, brother, significant other, grandchild and friend to a countless number of people. He was the first-born child of Donald Lambert Jr. and Denise (Millett) Martell. Donald is married to Martha Grover-Lambert (step-mother) and Denise is married to David Martell (step-father). Jordan was the big brother to Dayna Lambert, Kelsey Lambert, Olivia Grover, Randy Martell, Ryan Martell, Benjamin Lambert, Alex Martell and Jeremy Lambert. Jordan was the grandchild of Gail (Emmons) Lambert-Jordan and Dennis Jordan, Russell and Carole Millett, and Donald Lambert Sr.
Jordan graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 2010. Two years later, he met his princess, Kelsey Higgins. The two of them spent five loving years together, and during that time, Jordan became a father to his pride and joy and his very best friend, Nathaniel James Lambert. Jordan loved a lot of things and people, but there was nothing in this world that he adored more than his son. There was not a single thing that Jordan wouldn’t do to make him laugh or smile. The last three years with Nathaniel were without a doubt, the happiest of Jordan’s life. Jordan was interested in trying out different career options, such as an Auto Detailer/Scrubba Dubba, but his favorite job, by far, was being “Da Da” to his little boy.
Jordan wasn’t a man who liked to sit still for too long. He was always on the go, whether it was to visit his friends, to head to open gym and play basketball, play slow-pitch softball, take a ride on a dirt bike or four-wheeler, or watch the big game. Jordan was a huge fan of sports. His favorite teams were the Boston Celtics, New York Yankees (and anyone opposing the Red Sox), New England Patriots, and the Minnesota Vikings. He wasn’t much for politics, but always enjoyed a good “Lebron James or Michael Jordan” debate. Not only did Jordan enjoy attending sporting events, watching them on TV, and playing them, he also participated in fantasy football and baseball leagues. He was constantly checking-in on stats and scores, and looking for advice about his teams. Wherever Jordan was, and whatever he was doing, you would be sure to hear his deep voice speaking oh so slow and steady, you could see that big smile on his face, and you couldn’t help but laugh along with his own incredibly infectious laugh.
On Sunday, May 21, there will be visiting hours from 2-4pm at Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Home, located at 498 Long Plains Road, Buxton.
