Carole A. (Evans) Jackson, 82, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the wife of C. Edward Jackson.
Mrs. Jackson was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late David and Sarah (Smalley) Evans and had resided in Westport since 1993. Prior to her retirement in 1984, she worked as a secretary for St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed her flower garden and spending time with her family.
Survivors along with her husband include her 2 sons: Kurt Sagar and his wife Judy of Dartmouth and Karl Sagar of Concord, NH; her daughter: Kristen Sagar of Marlboro, MA; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, May 19, 2017 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Potter Funeral Home.
