Henryette “Robyn” Luke Trevino, 70, left us on May 10, 2017 with her family by her side and in a celebratory departing hymn.
Robyn was born on October 13, 1946 in Bainbridge, Georgia to Henry Luke and Bertha Powell.
She was raised by her father in a large loving family. She spoke often of many dearly cherished memories from her childhood. Robyn attended Vashti School, Bainbridge High School, and graduated from Women’s College of GA where she received a Bachelor of Arts.
Robyn loved gardening, sewing, painting, reading, and antique shopping. She was a caregiver to her mother Esther for many years and cherished her family greatly. She always felt her greatest accomplishment in life was having a huge family who loved one another. She valued life, never met a stranger, and always blessed everyone she met.
Robyn married Ernest Trevino in August of1969: Tallyna Trevino (Raymond MaGee), Tamar Trevino (Brian Son), Tiffany Trevino-Jones (Daniel), Tracey Trevino-Kincaid (Steve), & Trisha Dillard (Joshua). Daniel (Christy), Christopher (Maribel), Ernest ‘Rene’, & Melissa.
Her grandchildren are: Renee (Matthew), Marissa, Noah, Hayden, Mikko, Maxxwell, Masson, (Lisa, Jeff), Daniel, Dustin, Danae, Denise, Travis, (Sarah), Kyle, Heaven, Lynk, Ethan, Isabella (Monica, Lisa, Brian, Brianna, Jacob, Kara); and 3 great-grandchildren: Taytum, Sutton, and Jovie.
She has three sisters: Jane Dietrick, June Clements, and Mary Sanford.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Bertha, sister Olive, daughter Lisa, & great-granddaughter Luna.
Visitation will be 12-8pm Monday, May 15, 2017 at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road with a small service at 6pm.
