Obituary


Vincent Talarico, 85 of Brockton, died Tuesday May 9, 2017 at Blue Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was a devoted husband of Mary F (Costello) Talarico for 57 years.
Born July 1, 1931 in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Fannie (Sacco) and Thomas Talarico. Vinny had served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart.

He retired from My Brother’s Place in Medfield as a director and counselor. Also, Vinny was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Coleman’s Church. He was also a grateful friend of Bill W.
Vinny was an avid Boston sports fan, loved watching the Red Sox and enjoyed being with family and friends for a hot cup of coffee. Vinny was most proud of his wife and family.

In addition to his wife, Mary, Vinny is survived by his children: Thomas Talarico-Howard and his wife Julie, Kathleen Gillis and her husband Guy, Mary Chisam, Lisa Corr and her fiancé Curtis Kennedy and Vincent Talarico and his wife Lisa. He leaves his 13 beloved grandchildren, 1 great grandson and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Ralph Talarico of NJ and the late Sara DeVito, Frances DeVito, Carmella Habelow, Rose Habelow, Grace Ford, Veronica DeCastro, Josephine Talarico, Frank Talarico and Thomas Talarico.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte.123) Brockton on Monday 4-7pm. A procession will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 9 am. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:30. Donations in Vinny’s name may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 309 Waverley Oak Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
