Shirley F. Gordon

TEWKSBURY: Shirley Faith (Carmichael) Gordon, age 85, a resident of Tewksbury for 44 years, formerly of Methuen, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus on Friday, May 5, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Gordon, who passed away on October 22, 1993.
Born in Lawrence on January 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Hayes) Carmichael.
Shirley was raised in Methuen and graduated from Methuen High School. Following high school. Shirley attended nursing school.
Shirley worked as a nurse for several years.
She spent most of her life raising and caring for her family.
She is survived by two children, Linda S. Serkman and her husband Scott of Colorado Springs, CO and Steven A. Gordon of Tewksbury; one grandson, Samuel Serkman of Colorado Springs, CO.
Shirley was the sister of the late Alan Carmichael and Martha Drouin.
Calling hours are Saturday, May 13, from 6-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held at the funeral home.
